PARTS OF SPEECH

parts of speech

Ouch! I broke my finger and turned red but  early my mother  put my finger on ice.


Wow! I see my friend with the famous singer Luis Miguel but quickly they move on the other table.




Grammar classifies words based on eight parts of speech

NOUN

 John, Mary, boy, girl, children; Pasadena, classrooms, notebooks; freedom, intelligence; hope, anger, joy, etc.





 PRONOUN
I,you,she,he,it,we,you,they, mine, me; you, yours; he, his, him; she, hers, her; it, its; we, ours, us; they, theirs, them, all, another, any, anybody, anyone, anything, both, each, either, everybody, everyone, everything, many, neither, nobody, no one, none, one, others, some, somebody, someone, such, myself, yourself, himself, herself, itself, ourselves, themselves, etc.

VERB

ADVERB

ADJECTIVE

PREPOSITION

CONJUNCTION

INTERJECTION
Oh!  Ah!  Wow!   Gosh!  Golly!  Gee!  Ow!  Ouch!  Yikes!  Holy moly!  Yippee!  Hooray!  Boo!
